Edge Hill: QiGong

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until 27/12/2022
These classes combine gentle movement with deep, relaxed breathing and focused intention, to bring balance and harmony to all aspects of who you are. They are designed to energise your body, calm your mind, elevate your emotions, and inspire your spirit!
With regular practice, Qigong replenishes and strengthens all the internal organs and physiological systems of the body. Among its many benefits, some common ‘side effects’ are less stress, improved flexibility, better posture, a stronger immune system and better sleep.
As Qigong is usually practised barefoot, participants can choose to stand on the grass or bring a mat for the undercover area. If you prefer, you can wear flexible, thin-soled shoes.
Please wear comfortable exercise attire, bring a water bottle and towel.
